It is also our policy to respect our client's privacy by restricting our activities in the client's home to only the care of the pet(s) or items expressed in writing by the client.

Refusal of Service

Columbia Pet Sitters reserves the right to refuse service to any client that does not meet our minimum standard of pet care. This includes, but is not restricted to adequate food, water, shelter, medical treatment, and comfortable confinement.

We will not condone or engage in any activities we feel are abusive means of training such as food or water deprivation, or any infliction of physical pain to include pinch collars, choke chains, and any form shock treament.

In addition, we strongly suggest the following regarding the care of pets.

For dogs, we require two to three visits daily unless medication is needed, confinement or thier age requires more but we will not do less.

For cats, one visit for every 24 hours, more visits are possble if desired but again, we will not do less.

We will gladly offer our clients education and assistance on pet care in any way possible. However, we will report any cases of severe neglect and abuse to the local authorities.

We hope our clients will understand and appreciate our dedication to the well being of animals.
